Celebrating 30 years of Making a Safer World for Kids
National Kidsafe Day 2009 will be celebrated on Monday 26th October and aims to increase awareness of unintentional childhood injuries and their prevention, as well as the valuable work of Kidsafe - the Child Accident Prevention Foundation of Australia, in public education, advocacy and research into the causes and prevention of unintentional childhood injury.

National Kidsafe Day 2009 coincides with Children's Week, which provides a great opportunity for considering the safety of our children in our adult focused world during a week that celebrates our children.
In many States and Territories, Kidsafe will be participating in local Children's Week events as well as running activities for National Kidsafe Day, including recognising our local Kidsafe Champions through the Kidsafe 30th Anniversary Awards of Recognition.
