national kidsafe day events
National Kidsafe Day 2009 coincides with Children's Week, which provides a great opportunity for considering the safety of our children in our adult focused world a week that celebrates our children.
In many States and Territories, Kidsafe will be participating in local Children's Week events as well as running activities for National Kidsafe Day.
How Can you get involved and help Kidsafe Make a Safer World for Kids...
Safety on the Road: Buckle up every child on every trip in a restraint suitable for their age, weight & height - Are you ready for the changes to the Road Rules?
Safety at School: Ensure your child is wearing a well fitted helmet when riding a bike. Teach children to Stop, Look, Listen and Think before crossing the road.
Safety at Play: Check play equipment and toys are suitable for your child's age and stage of development. (Download the Kidsafe WA Playground Safety Checklist - or contact your local kidsafe office for further information).
Safety at Home: Complet the Kidsafe Home Safety Checklist to reduce the risk of injury to adventurous toddlers.
